In Game

For starters you would start of with several champions that are currently broken af in the recent patch
Fast-forward boring explanation

Ok so basically after you have drenched yourself with sweat and potato chip bags you have finally reached level 30

So basically
Rewinds for some basic

Ok so at the start of the game you will be in champion select where most of the fighting begins to start
Here are some few examples of how generous and nice people are to you in Champion Select

Here you spend probably a minute to contemplate on why you chose to waste your free time playing with random strangers who have nothing else to do to beat up your self esteem

Ok now we are onto the rift

In the first 15 minutes you run around to beat up minions and rob them of their family riches to only buy new items to beat up more minons

Then spend the rest of the game nagging at each other on how bad you are at this game and spend the last few minutes to either
*Brag to the other team
or
*Convince the opposing team to report your teamates

After you have finished the game you have earned 100-200 IP only 9000000 to get that favorite champ of your's

Spend your college funds on skins!
To make you look good while you lose ofc :3

I believe the idea is not to drive newbies away from the game, but I still have to say that the LOL community made me stop playing at level 16 T_T.

But the game is fun when you team up with friends !

The game actually isn't that bad unless you stuck at rock-bottom. At higher levels (almost) everything becomes more enjoyable.

@Crocos the basics of the game is awful easy to learn. By the time you hit level 30 (allowing you to play the actual competitive game) you will learn everything you need to know. From there on it's up to you how seriously you play. If you decide to rank up you will eventually get to a level where you belong based on your skill. If you want to play the game solely to have fun don't expect the other players to take it seriously either, lot of people just play the game to drive off stress.
